The coastal climate differs significantly from the one in central Poland or in the mountain region. It is formed under the predominant influence of the marine climate which means big masses of air that come from above the Atlantic and in result is more mild.

 

Pomorze Wschodnie (the Eastern Coastal region) is one of the richest and most varied regions in Poland in terms of landscape. The beaches on Mierzeja Helska have been especially popular among tourists ever since the interwar period.

Trójmiasto, Łeba, Jastrzębia Góra, Władysławowo as well as Jastarnia, Jurata, Hel or Krynica Morska – all these cities, towns and fishing villages are also trendy spas and they guarantee a marvellous relaxation. It has been known for almost 200 years as a bathing resort.
